The Vote Is the Firewall

Why election integrity, the SAVE Act, and the 2026 midterms matter to the future of the Constitution.

America does not lose its Constitution all at once.

It loses it one compromise at a time. One ignored law at a time. One open border at a time. One dishonest election system at a time. One generation of citizens deciding that voting no longer matters.

That is why the SAVE Act matters.

The Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act is based on a simple idea: American elections should be decided by American citizens. That should not be controversial. Requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote in federal elections is not radical. It is common sense.

But common sense has become rare in Washington.

The Senate should not be sitting on this. Every senator should be willing to go on record. If they believe only American citizens should vote in American elections, they should say so with their vote. If they do not, the American people deserve to know that too.

At the same time, we are watching open socialists, Marxists, and radical leftists win office in cities, school boards, state legislatures, and other positions of power across the country. They do not always use the old labels, but the ideas are the same: more government control, less individual liberty, less respect for property, less respect for faith, less respect for the Constitution, and more power placed in the hands of political elites.

That affects all of us.

The Constitution was written to restrain government. Socialism and communism require government to restrain the people. Those two visions cannot peacefully occupy the same foundation forever.

That is why the 2026 midterms matter.

This is not a “someone else will handle it” election. This is not a time to sit home because politics is ugly, frustrating, or exhausting. The people who want to fundamentally change America are organized. They vote. They run candidates. They take local offices seriously.

So must we.

If you believe in free speech, VOTE.

If you believe in secure borders, VOTE.

If you believe in the Second Amendment, VOTE.

If you believe American citizens should decide American elections, VOTE.

If you believe the Constitution is worth defending, VOTE.
