We must, as a people, strive for and complete the mission to remove and make illegal the lobbying, bribing, and coercing of our public officials by ANY Company, Country, Corporation or Individual. It is imperative that we, the People, Succeed in returning the offices of the United States Government to purely a Public Service, devoid of Executive-Level career opportunities, which breed Corruption by their very definition. A term as Senator, Congressperson, President or any others should be filled with the same attitude of someone who joins the military to serve their country, without promise of a Shining Mercedes or a Corner Office.
Laws must be placed on the books, and possibly the Constitution itself via Convention of the Several States (Article 5, Paragraph 1 of the Constitution), To make it a federal felony to Accept, Issue, or Exchange Capital, Goods or Services to Public Officials in any capacity. With this, also, must be set Term limits, akin to Amendment 22 that set term limits for the office of the President of the United States. This, our Living Document, must be changed once again to correct the mistakes that the weathering of time has eroded away and revealed to us for repair.
It is imperative that, for the first time in Earth’s history, we succeed as an advancing species and remove Greed from the services that run the very foundations of our daily lives, that we may evolve into a brighter future.
Everyone needs to go the Convention of States and sign the petition to have their local states join the convention to add amendments like this to our Constitution, since you will NEVER see the House or Senate create something that will end their gravy train!
